We all experience staining, whether it’s red wine, tea, coffee, or just gradual darkening over time. PT-As super-fine particles remove even the most stubborn stains – leaving you with the whitest smile possible without using chemicals.
PT-A tooth polishing is a healthy and conventional treatment. Studies and patient testimonials show that the treatment is harmless and comfortable. The PT-A system cleans and brightens teeth with the use of condensed air and a mild abrasive.
As with all treatments at FP Dental, our first concern is your safety and comfort. Once you are sitting comfortably, our hygienist will run you through what to expect during treatment. PT-A uses compressed air and fine particles to remove debris. Some patients experience cold air sensations if they have sensitive teeth, but most find treatment completely comfortable.
The tooth polishing process usually takes about 30 minutes. To get great results, as always, you will need to brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and clean between your teeth. We also recommend avoiding heavily coloured foods for the next few days. Your hygienist will give tips and advice on how to keep your dazzling smile!
